LCAB won a heart stopping friendly match!
Lawyers Cricket Association of Bangladesh (LCAB) has won a friendly match against Decent Boys Cricket Academy (DBCA) by 13 runs (D/L Rules) yesterday (12 June 2021) at Professor Hamidur Rahman Stadium, Keranigonj. It was a rain interrupted heart stopping low scoring match. LCAB batted first and scored 135/10 in 31.1 overs (35 overs match). In from opening batsman Kishore was the top scorer for his team 32(47) and Captain Tutul played a responsible innings of 19 (35) runs, Msum added 10 of 7 balls at the end. Yasin of DBCA got 4/18 wickets and Juanied got 2/10. In reply, DBCA lost 2 early wickets in first two overs, then they have managed to score 97/7 in 23 overs losing wickets in a regular interval. Match had to close due to rain finally. Rifat from DBCA scored 21 (35), Tonmoy* 14(26) and Waliullah*11(11). Captain Tutul of LCAB took 2/17 and Pranto took 2/11 wickets each. Kishore declarer man of the match for his outstanding 32 runs and capturing 1 vital wicket of DBCA spending 18 runs in 4 overs.
